journals can be in character or out of character without the use of excessive letters or numbers. pbs should be 18+ and follow the five year rule. they must have an easy to find, online presence. we require biographies of at least 250 words, not including your basic information, likes and dislikes, or random facts. we encourage everyone to use the resources available for layouts.

we require one post a month for activity. it must be open to the community with comments enabled, and you must respond to the majority of comments for it to count. acceptable activity is anything of your choosing that gets you interacting with others. we understand that we all lead busy lives, thus our requirements reflect that. we will not grant extensions on monthly activity. unless you are on hiatus, you should be able to manage one post a month. of course, we encourage our members to post multiple times throughout the month. activity is what makes a community thrive. your introduction counts as your first month's activity requirement.

we will grant a hiatus on a case by case basis. we understand that things happen in life that take precedence over role-play. as such, we are more than willing to grant a hiatus based upon your needs and what's best for the community as a whole. this means that; while we're willing to work with you, we will not allow more than a four week hiatus. if you need to take time off from rp for more than four weeks, we ask that you drop your character and consider reapplying when you are ready.

we're not going to ask that you reveal to us who you play upon application of more than one character. we understand that anonymity and privacy are important to many, and not everyone is comfortable revealing their roles. we feel it's not always possible to police the number of characters someone might attempt to play, and we don't care as long as you're completing activity requirements. however, if it's brought to our attention that someone is using multiple characters to manipulate play, you risk removal.
